Bethany, my TIP community my Step Out and Thrive and Check in Thursday connections have helped me in so many ways over the last few years. These resources helped me to see myself the way God sees me. I am a child in whom HE (GOD) delights, HE is a mighty warrior who saves, HE quiets me with HIS love, HE sings over me with praises! (Zephaniah 3:17) Not because I am perfect, but because I am HIS. In one of my coaching sessions as Bethany listened, she caught a small wording difference that even I missed. Then, she asked a curious question, not in judgement- but from a place of deep caring/LOVE and in doing that, I was able to go back into the situation in my marriage, look at the situation from a different perspective and find a beauty that brought healing and restoration. ❤️‍🩹 God made us for community to encourage, support and help each other as we navigate our struggles. For the first time in over 30 years my husband and I are growing in faith together “TOWARD” the Lord and I am so thankful. THROUGH HIM I am RECEIVING IMPOSSIBLE VICTORIES EVERYDAY, and if you want to know the meaning behind the last sentence, buy her book, you won’t regret it! I am now in the process of sharing my testimony with others which is a reflection of HIS glory and what HE has done in my life.

After beginning “Storywork” in the last few years I knew it was time to take the “next step.” Finding people who would walk with me through the struggles and not “judge me” was AMAZING! People who would listen to my experiences and not dismiss the emotions involved proved so healing. Working with my TIP group and 1:1 with Bethany has allowed me to flourish in new and different ways. I am finding beauty in my story for the first time. They didn’t solve my problems they LISTENED with an ATTUNED ear and EMPATHY. I felt validated and held. They asked me curious questions and helped me find answers while pointing me to the Lord. I would highly recommend joining a TIP group for anyone who is serious about overcoming wounds that leave you “stuck” and without hope!

I participated in a TIP Community Group along with a dear friend and colleague with the goal of becoming more intentional with my connections in our church Peer Support Group that we co-facilitated. Bethany is my coach/trainer as a facilitator for LK10. I usually find these kinds of new experiences extremely stressful. I don’t have a lot of formal experience, so I am really hesitant to step out at this level. Bethany was assigned to me as a trainer, and she has been an exceptional help to me. I found myself really stirred up in the week before my first real-life experience, and she was so calm for me and assuring. She helped me to choose to move forward, even as she gave me an out to take more time if I needed. My heart felt very cared for and attuned to.
